Your new job

We are looking for two mentors in drama/theater for our summer internship at the Culture School. The job involves leading a group of students with different backgrounds and needs within the adapted summer internship. It is you mentors who, together with the group, shape the goals during the weeks you work together. There is an opportunity for guidance for you before and during the ongoing process, as well as time for planning before the summer interns start.

Our culture school has about 55 creative employees who work passionately to provide children and young people the opportunity to develop through teaching, experiences, and their own creativity in music, dance, visual arts, film, and theater. We also conduct outreach and open activities to reach even more children and young people.

We teach primarily from early afternoon to evening but also offer so-called basic courses and cultural ladders, which both involve providing entire school grades within primary and adapted primary school with various cultural activities.

The Culture School has its own premises in both Jönköping and Huskvarna.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone with knowledge of drama/theater, but knowledge in other cultural subjects as a complement is also of interest. Experience working with students with different disabilities is also an advantage.

The assignment requires sensitivity and the ability to build relationships with different young people, to see them in a salutogenic way, and to be curious about other people.

The assignment requires flexibility, creativity, and the courage to rethink during the ongoing process.
